Former face of TV3 eyes Effutu MP seat

A broadcaster and private consultant, Mr. Eric Don Arthur has disclosed his intention of contesting the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries in the Effutu Constituency in the Central Region of Ghana.
Mr. Don Arthur also known as Kwesi Abeka Kwandahor as his local name picked his form on Monday 31st September, 2015 at the NDC Office in Winneba.
Mr. Don Arthur is likely to contest Henry Kweku Bortsie Ghartey who earlier picked his form on Friday 28th September, 2015, Eric Ebo Appiah and the former minister for Road and Transport, Mr. Mike Hammah who are yet to pick their forms.
The forty-eight (48) year old Brekudon Broni, in an interview says Effutuman has lots of talents, stressing that he has come at the opportune time to discover such talents and groom them.
He also pointed out that, “The town has many resources such as marine, agricultural and cultural resources which are crying for development and for that matter causing high level of unemployment in the electorate”.

According to him if these resources are properly managed, they can bring total development to the town and its people, adding that it is about time farmers, fisherfolks, small scale traders and small entrepreneurs have to move from the base to the pinnacle.

Mr. Eric Don Arthur therefore hinted that people of Effutu need great innovation and he is ready to carry out this massive reforms and innovation, hinting that he has come to add value and multiply the development in Winneba.
