“LATE PRESIDENT ATTA MILLS WAS NOT A GOOD MATERIAL FOR POLITICS”.

Mr. Stephen Frimpong Manso a lawyer and a lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Journalism said on Tuesday February 17, 2015 that the late president John Evans Atta Mills was not a good material for politics.

Mr. Manso believed that the late president Mills was well equipped in academic work as compared to politics and that Mills made a big mistake for accepting Rawlings’ invitation as his vice in 1996 when NDC won power.

Mr. Frimpong Manso likewise said bravely that he was the only one who criticized the late president Mills on radio after his demise.

“Atta Mills’ term of office as a president of Ghana stuck in limbo; he could not go forward and he could not go back. Therefore, Mills was not a good material for politics”. Besides, he expressed his big surprise and disappointed in many Ghanaians who were not bold enough to point out Mills mistakes but rather praised him after his demise." He said.

Moreover, Mr. Manso said Ghana was in all this mess because of poor leadership. Nonetheless, he was ever ready to help the country with his insight only if the leaders of the country were ready to seek advice from him.

KUDOS TO JORDAN HENDERSON

Leadership is not about pride, arrogant, insolent, misunderstanding but leadership is all about friendship, humility, respect and understanding.

I say kudos to Jordan Henderson just because of the good leadership ability he exhibited last Thursday when Liverpool FC hosted Besiktas in their first leg of the Europa league round of 32.

Although, all the players and die-hard fans of Liverpool FC knew that whenever Steven Gerrard is not on the field of play and the team is awarded a penalty kick, Henderson happens to be the player responsible for the kick. But he showed understanding and respect by handling the ball to veteran penalty taker Mario Balotelli when he requested for the ball.

Balotelli also portrayed his pedigree by scoring the only goal of the game for Liverpool FC. Now our have better advantage over its opponent and we look forward for a positive result next week Thursday when we travel to Turkey.

SANNIE DARRA MUST APOLOGISE TO GHANAIAN JOURNALISTS

As an aspiring journalist, Mr. Ibrahim Sannie Darra has always been my role model.

Sannie has always been an inspiration to me during his days at Choice FM and BBC.

I still admire his integrity, legacy and talent as a journalist and now the Communications Director for Ghana Football Association (GFA).

In fact, I was very surprise and shock when I heard Mr. Ibrahim Sannie Darra had insulted journalists.

To be frank I do not know how true the issue is but I do believe that with every rumour, there is a bit truth. So I am begging Mr. Sannie Darra to apologise to Ghanaian journalists.

ASANTE KOTOKO WILL REGRET FOR SACKING DIDI DRAMANI

No wonder our fore fathers said human beings are like the fowl that use the beck to graze the ground after eating. Didi Dramani in my opinion has done a great job ever since he took over from Maxwell Konadu as the coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC. Didi came to Kotoko at a very critical time where fans were expecting a lot from the team just because of achievement Maxwell Konadu had with the team. Didi also made sure he could at least give the fans of Kotoko something good at the end of every season. Thus, within two years, Didi won two premier league titles and a FA cup for Kotoko fans.
Though, fans expected him to excel in the CAF Champions’ league which he was unable to do that but I think it is too early to take that decision. In my opinion, I think management should have given him some more time to rectify his mistakes. Thus, now that the decision has already been made, there is nothing to do about it but I believe management and fans will regret for letting Didi go.
