LOCAL COACHES CAN MANAGE BLACK STARS

 

     I see the white man always being dominant over the black man because the whites always cherish their own while the blacks never value theirs. Until we value our own, we will continue to serve the whites. I cannot fathom the thinking fact of some Ghanaians that anything indigenous is anticipated inferior. Why can’t we believe ourselves and do things on our own without involving the white man.

     What at all might be the reason of refusing to support our own? Could it be out of ignorance, greed, jealousy, hypocrisy or hatred? It is time to abolish all these negativities and cultivate positive habits such as patriotism, productivity, love, faith and trust in our own. The late Dr. Kwame Nkrumah once said, “The black man is capable of managing his own affairs”. Thus, I believe this powerful word from the late Dr. Kwame Nkrumah would mean paramount to us and put to practise by changing your philosophy on blacks.

      Therefore, all I mean is that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is wasting time and money on foreign coaches. In my own opinion, I think that GFA should get rid of foreign coaches and give the job to a local coach. Besides, we always say the black stars have been crowned champions of Africa on four different occasions but the interesting fact here is that local coaches won all the four trophies for black stars. In this case, why do we worry ourselves and waste time in bringing foreign coaches to manage our senior national team? Thus, their aim is just to come, take high salary and cause financial loss to the state and Ghana football.
